A slender branch of ripe lemons hangs against a soft, atmospheric grey-green ground, the fruit glowing warm yellow while the leaves fade in and out of the mist. Pavel Filin builds the lemons with loose, confident strokes and leaves the background loosely brushed, so the light seems to gather around the fruit.
